Keep your homes clean and organized !

Advice from Sheikh Saleh al Fawzaan حفظه الله:

"Be diligent (O sisters) in managing your time, such that your work can be enjoyable. And make you homes always like a clean organized garden; for the home is indicative of the lady of the house. And with cleanliness and organization the home will have the most beautiful representation, even if the furniture is modest and humble; and the opposite is also true. When the husband and the children return from their jobs and studies tired, and they find a home organized and clean it will lessen their stress and their load; and the opposite is true. Therefore a clean organized house is from the most important means for the home to be serene and comfortable."

Whoever defends his brother’s honor in his absence, Allaah will protect his face from the Hellfire..

(Extract from Sharh Buloogh al-Maram of Sheikh Saleh al Fawzaan, pg. 291-292)

Abu ad-Darda’ رضي اللّه عنـه narrated that the Messenger of Allaah صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم said:

Whoever defends his brother’s honor in his absence, Allaah will protect his face from the Fire of Hell on the Day of Resurrection.

[Related by At-Tirmidhee who graded it to be Hasan. Ahmad has something similar from the Hadeeth of Asmaa’ bint Yazeed]

Explanation: “Whoever defends his brother’s honor in his absence…”
Meaning: In the state of his brother’s absence. If he happens to attend a gathering and his Muslim brother is being mentioned with sin or being degraded, then he defends him as he would defend his own honor, because his brother’s honor is like his own.

Therefore he defends his brother’s honor, by censuring the backbiters and preventing them from persisting as it relates to the honor of his Muslim brother. He does not resign and stay quiet, leaving them to backbite. This is the Muslim’s obligation, and it is not permitted for him to stay quiet and keep the peace, for he will be sinning due to that and he will be a sharer and partner to them regarding the sin, (that is) because he saw an evil (taking place) and he did not change it, whilst having the ability to do so.

How much more then, if he participated with them in the act, and he began backbiting with them? This is even worse. As for if he defends his brother’s honor and he prevents them from backbiting his brother, then Allaah, the Majestic and Exalted, will reward him by protecting his face from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. This is a tremendous favor, because on the Day of Resurrection, the Fire will be brought in to view.

He سُبحانه وتعالى said:
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَى
And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees.”
(An-Nazia't 79:36)

14 Instances Where Extending The Salams Is Disliked

Sheikh Saalih al Fawzaan حفظه الله mentions:

These are the instances where extending the Salaam is disliked:

The First: It is disliked to extend the Salaam to someone who is speaking, because he is occupied with speaking to someone else.

The Second: “One who is busy with Dhikr (verbal remembrance of Allaah)” such as Tasbeeh (SubhanAllaah), Tahleel (La Ilaha IllAllaah) and the recital of the Qur'aan.

The Third: One who is busy with the speech (Hadeeth) of Muhammad صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم.

The Fourth: Extending the Salaam to one who is giving a Khutbah (a public speech), with the exception of the Jum’ah (Friday) Khutbah, for it is prohibited to speak during it; it is prohibited to extend the Salaam to the Khateeb or those attending the Jum’ah prayer, this is not permissible.”

The Fifth: “and a person giving a lesson” one who is giving a lesson in Qur'aan, Hadeeth, Fiqh or Arabic grammar, do not extend the Salaam to the teacher. Some people come to a circle of knowledge while the class is being taught and extend the Salaam with a raised voice. This is disliked, because it distracts the teacher and those sitting and listening, as they would now give their attention to the new comer.

The Sixth: “Those who are engaged in knowledge based research.” One who is researching a specific knowledge based issue, do not extend the Salaam to him and interrupt his research.

Is The Woman’s Voice Considered Awrah Or Not?

The Permanent Standing Committee & Sheikh Saalih al Fawzaan حفظه الله

The Permanent Standing Committee said: “The woman’s voice is not ‘awrah in principle, for women used to complain to the Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم, and ask him about Islaamic matters. They also did that with the rightly-guided Khaleefahsرضي الله عنهم  and the rulers after them. And they would greet non-mahram men with salaams and return greetings, and none of the imâms of Islaam denounced them for that. But it is NOT permissible for a woman to speak in a soft or alluring voice, because Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى says:

يَا نِسَاء النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاء إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا

O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allaah), then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.”
[al-Ahzaab 33:32]

because men may be tempted by that, as is indicated by this aayah. And Allaah is the source of strength.

Do you want to drink from the POND of Rasulullaah صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم??

Fond d'écran animé, screensaver 240x320 pour téléphone portable

Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzan حفظها الله

If you want to drink from this pond (the Prophet’s pond on the Day of Judgment), then be obedient to Allaah and His Messenger. As for the person who claims to be from the Ummah of Muhammad but does not obey nor comply, nor adheres to the Manhaj of the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم , then, this person will NOT benefit from using the name Islaam. Rather he will be prevented from drinking from the pond at a time when the people will be extremely thirsty. And with Allaah refuge is sought.

Therefore the one who wants to drink from this pond let him adhere to the Sunnah. And adhering to the Sunnah is not an easy matter. It comes with trials and ordeals. There are people who will rebuke you, harm you, and degrade you. They will say: ‘This person is extreme, haughty, etc.' or perhaps they will not suffice with speech, perhaps they will kill you, or beat you, or imprison you.

But BE PATIENT if you want safety and if you want to drink from this pond. Be patient with adhering to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah
صلى الله عليه وسلم until you meet him at the POND.

The following points were mentioned in Sheikh Fath al-Qadsi  حفظه الله's lesson of Saheeh Muslim Hadeeth #81, Chapter Ma'rifa Tareeq ar-Ru'ya:

Those who will be prevented from the pond of Rasulullaah  صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم

·    The Kuffaar - (the disbelievers) they are those who have refused to drink from the pond;
·       The Murtad - Those who apostate (left Islaam);
·       The Hypocrites - Those who showed Islaam outwardly and hid their disbelief;
·      Those who innovated and introduced new things into the Deen of Islaam -- (the people of Ahlul Bid'ah)

Refuting Those Who Say the Shi'aa are Our Brothers

Question: Some of the Du’at (Callers to Islaam) and students of knowledge say that the Shi'aa and the Raafidhah are our brothers. Is it permissible for us to say this and what is required [of us] in this regard?

Answer by Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan حفظه الله: We absolve and clear ourselves to Allaah of them and this speech. They are NOT our brothers. [Swearing by Allaah] They are not our brothers. Rather they are the brothers of Shaitaan because they blaspheme and slander the Mother of the Believers Aa’isha رضي الله عنها, the wife of the Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم.

Allaah chose her for His Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم. As-Siddiqah Bint As-Siddiq. The truthful, daughter of the truthful (her father, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq). They also declare Abu Bakr and Umar to be disbelievers and curse them both. They declare the Sahaba in their entirety to be disbelievers except Ahlul Bayt, [one of whom is] Ali Ibn Abi Talib (رضي اللّه عنـه).

Nevertheless, they are enemies of Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضي اللّه عنـه. He is innocent of and free from them. Ali رضي اللّه عنـه is our Imaam and not theirs. He is an Imaam of Ahlus-Sunnah and not of the malevolent (spiteful, mean) and wicked Raafidhah. So we free ourselves to Allaah from them and they are not our brothers.
