Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

How to attain 'Husnul Khuluq' - (Good Morals, Manners & character)?
Know,
certainly that having good morals have always been connected to the descriptions
of the Prophets and righteous people in general. This should be an
encouragement for us to follow them.
Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى has
described Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم in His Noble Book:
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلى خُلُقٍ
عَظِيمٍ
'And verily, you (O Muhammad صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) are on an exalted standard of character.'
(Al-Qalam 68:4)
إِنَّك - shows emphasis i.e. emphasizing that Prophet Muhammad's character
was extremely great. Here, Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى is speaking about Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم.
1 ** صَبر (Sabr - being
patient): This aids a person to control his anger, tongue and control himself
physically. The definition of patience is 'to control oneself.' It is
difficult for some to control their emotions in certain situations. It can be
overwhelming for them;

That which describes a woman when she is ALIVE is Worse & Worse!
Sheikh
Al-Albâni رحمه الله
‘… Transmitted by Umm Ja’far bint Muhammad bin Ja’far that Faatimah رضي الله عنها, the daughter of the Messenger of Allaah صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم said: ‘O Asmaa’, I am repulsed by what is done to the women – at the time of death – when they lay a piece of cloth over the woman that describes her shape.”
Asmaa’ responded: “O daughter of the
Messenger of Allaah صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم should I not show you something that I saw done in Abyssinia?”

Why worry when Allaah has undertaken our RIZQ !!
Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى says:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ
ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ
'Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.'
'Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.'
(Adh-Dhariyat 51:58)
Allaah says that He is الرَّزَّاقُ, the
One
Who Provides, and الرَّزَّاقُ shows emphasis that He is the ONLY Provider and that everything
turns to Him for their provision. When Allaah has undertaken to provide us our
rizq, then it is upon us to busy ourselves with worshiping Him as worshiping and fulfilling the purpose for that which we were created brings immense benefit to us.
Allaah is stressing that He is الرَّزَّاقُ and
our provision is already written for us. Why busy ourselves with that
which is already written for us? What we find is that mankind in general is busy with that which Allaah has
given them and that which He سُبحانه وتعالى is responsible for.

Faa'ida regarding Ibaadah
Sharing
what I benefited from Umm Hyatt حفظه الله's last Dars....
Ibnul
Qayyim رحمه الله mentioned
that there are two conditions that must be present in order for a particular
action to be considered ibādah.
1.
The first is 'Muhabbah' -- love for Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى;
2.
Second is 'Humility' (humble yourself
before the Lord of the 'Aalameen.)
Note:
If
one of these conditions are missing, then that action is NOT
considered ibādah. We cannot worship Allaahسُبحانه وتعالى if we don't have love for him
and have kibr (pride).
How many of us have been praying, fasting and doing various ibaadah without knowing the conditions of ibaadah?? Alhamdulillaah seeking ilm is the first step to erase ignorance from oneself bi'idnillaahi ta'ala.
Indeed knowledge is praiseworthy and ignorance is blameworthy!! Alhamduillaah, All the Praise is due to the Rabbil Aa'lameen for giving us the opportunity to continue our journey of seeking ilm even if we had to leave Dammaj. Qadr Allaah! There is indeed khair in everything that Allaah has decreed for a believer!

Precious Advice!

DON'T look down at people
A statement written in ink of gold...
Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"If Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى opens for you (gives you success to
doing that action) the door of standing for the night prayer, then DO NOT look at those who are sleeping with a look
of disdain.
And if Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى opens for you the door of fasting
then DO NOT look at those who break their
fast with a look of disdain.
And if Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى opens for you the door of jihad then
DO NOT look at those who sit and do not
participate with a look of disdain.
Maybe
the one who sleeps, breaks his fast and sits is CLOSER
to Allaah than you!

Friends in Islaam
One
of the greatest things that helps the Muslim to have piety and uprightness on
the path of truth and guidance is keeping the company of good people and
avoiding evil company, for man, by his nature, gets influenced by his friends
and companions and adopts their characters and manners.
Also,
man’s character is known through his brothers and friends as pointed out by the
Prophet when he said,
“A man is on the
religion of his friend, so let every one of you examine whom he befriends.”

An Insult with a Gift (Backbiting)
It is reported that ‘Abd Al-Rahmān b. Mahdī (Allāh have mercy on him) said, “If it were not for
the fact I hate that Allaah is disobeyed, I would have wished that no one
remain in this city except that he had spoken ill of me & backbitten me;
for what is nicer than a good deed a man finds in his records on the Day of
Resurrection without having done a thing or even having known?”
Abū
Nu’aym, Hilyatu Al-Awliyā` 4:45.
What is the cure for the one who has illness in his heart or a deficiency in Eemaan?
Sheikh Muhammad Ibraheem Al-Misree حفظه
الله:
Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه
الله says:
“For the tongue DOES NOT keep quiet at all. It is either a tongue that remembers or a tongue that is frivolous and it has to be one of these two.
It is the (nature
of the) SOUL that if you do not preoccupy it with truth, it will occupy you with
falsehood. It is the (nature of the) HEART that if you do not accommodate it with
love of Allaah, it will dwell with love of creation and this is a certain
reality. It is the (nature of the) TONGUE that if you do not preoccupy it with
remembrance, it will most definitely occupy you with frivolity.
Thus, choose for
your own self one of the two courses and confer upon it one of the two
standings.”
