** What is the
ruling on eating & drinking while the Muadhin is calling the adhaan or
after the adhaan has been called by a short period, particularly if the
entering of dawn is not exactly known?
** A question
was posed to the Permanent Committee of Islaamic Verdicts in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia: Is it permissible for a person to break his fast before (hearing)
the adhaan (the call to prayer) as long as he is certain the sun has set?
