Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

رَبِّ ابْنِ لِى عِندَكَ بَيْتاً فِى الْجَنَّةِ
'My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Jannaah'

Which is better, patience or tests or prevailing?
Trials prepare the believers to prevail on earth..
It was said to Imaam
al-Shaafi’i (may Allaah have mercy on him):
Which is better, patience or
tests or prevailing?
He said: Prevailing is the
level attained by the Prophets, & there can be no prevailing except after
trials. If a person is tried he will become patient, & if he remains
patient he will prevail.

Let not your tongue mention the shame of another,..
Imaam
Shaafi’رحمه الله stated:
“Let
not your tongue mention the shame of another,
For
you yourself are covered in shame and all men have tongues.
If
your eye falls upon the sins of your brother,
Shield
them & say: “O my eye! All men have eyes!!!”

Say what you wish in abuse of me...
Imaam Ash-Shaafi`ee رحمه الله said:
"Say what you wish
in abuse of me, for my silence towards the idiot is indeed an answer. I am not
at a loss for a response but rather, it does not befit the lion to answer the
dogs."

“It is upon you to have Taqwa of Allaah when you are forgetful …”
Poem by Imaam Ash-Shaafi’e
“It is upon you to have Taqwa of Allaah
when you are forgetful,
Sustenance will come to you from where
you don’t know.
How dare you fear poverty when Allaah
is the Provider!!
Indeed He provided for the birds &
the whales in the sea.
And whoever thought that sustenance
comes with power,
when the bird ate something with the
eagles.
This world goes by you & you do not
know
when the night covers if you will live until
Fajr?
How many healthy died without a reason,
and how many weak live forever?
How many youth go to sleep & wake up
laughing,
and we buried him at sunset & he
didn’t even know?
So whoever lives a thousand, then a
thousand years after that,
no doubt there will come a day when you
will to the grave!”

When it comes to my provisions, I rely upon Allaah
When it comes to my
provisions, I rely upon Allaah, my Creator
And I know with certainty that He will no doubt provide for me.
Whatever’s in my due, will not pass me by,
Even if it were to be in the depths of the sea.
Allaah the Exalted will bring it forth by His Grace,
Even if I were to remain silent over it.
So, what can a soul feel sorrow over,
When the Most Merciful has set the provisions of the creation?
And I know with certainty that He will no doubt provide for me.
Whatever’s in my due, will not pass me by,
Even if it were to be in the depths of the sea.
Allaah the Exalted will bring it forth by His Grace,
Even if I were to remain silent over it.
So, what can a soul feel sorrow over,
When the Most Merciful has set the provisions of the creation?

I made my Hope a Stairway to Your Forgiveness!
Imaam Shafi’i (rahimahullaah)
in his final stage of sickness
“When my heart was hardened,
and my courses constrained;
I made my hope a stairway,
to Your forgiveness.
My sin burdened me heavily,
but when I measured it by Your forgiveness,
Lord~
Your forgiveness was the greater.”
