The servant has two standings in front of Allaah

Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim (rahimahullaah),
The servant has two standings in front of Allaah. A standing in front of Him during the prayer & a standing in front of Him on the Day of meeting with Him. Whoever stood for the first standing, giving its due right, the other meeting will become easier for him. And whoever took this standing lightly & did not perform it with its due right, the other standing will become hard and severe for him.

From the Amazing Signs of the Hour !!

From Abi Sa’eed al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“By Him in whose Hands is my soul! The Hour will not be established until the beasts of prey talk to people. And the tip of a man’s whip & the straps on his sandals speak to him. And his thigh informs him of what his family did after him.”

The Islaamic Ruling On Wearing High Heels

Question: What is the Islaamic ruling on wearing high heels?

Answer: The least regarding this affair is that it is kiraahah (i.e. it is disliked in relation to the Islaamic rulings) and this is because; firstly there is deceit in it, as the woman appears taller than she really is. Secondly there is a danger that she may fall, and finally her health may be jeopardized as proven by the doctors.

And Allaah knows best.

Ships DON'T Sail on Dry Land!!

So I say (Aboo Ruqayyah): The youth are not left alone to rely on their adolescence as an excuse for wasting time in being silly & foolish on non-sense, committing sins, laziness, procrastination & refraining from acts of obedience & saying: "I'm not there yet because I'm still young, but once I turn such and such age or after I get married, I will make tawbah (repentance) for these things and become more religious and serious about this Deen later in life."

This is the worst type of self-delusion, sinning excessively while hoping for mercy & forgiveness without feeling any remorse, responsibility & regret; or expecting to draw nearer to Allaah without obeying or worshipping Him, or to hope for the fruits of the Jannah (Garden) after having only planted & sowed the seeds of the Jahannam (Hell-Fire). Seeking the abode of the obedient through committing sins, or expecting a reward after having done nothing worthwhile but only transgressing & exceeding the limits.

"The delusional dreams & sick desires of the youth become the regret of the mature."

Yaa Shabaab (Oh youth) Do you hope for reward & forgiveness when you have NOT traversed its paths? A ship Doesn't sail on dry land !!

This was the advice given to Haaroon (ar-Rasheed) bin Muhammad al-Mahdee bin 'Abdillaah al-'Abbaasee al-Baghdaadee (d.193AH).

The Mannerisms of Suhoor & The One Eating The Suhoor

Shaykh Ahmad ibn Ahmad Shamlaan (may Allaah preserve him) mentioned thirteen mannerisms that are to be observed for the one eating the Suhoor:

1. Sincerity of the intention.
2. Saying Bismillaah when one is about to eat, eating with the right hand & eating from that which is closer to you. Based upon the Hadeeth Umar ibn Abee Salamah.
3. Gathering together upon the food. Indeed in that there's a blessing.
4. Not being wasteful in the meal & praising Allaah for it.
5. The the meal is from lawful wealth. Indeed it is stronger for the (carrying out) the act of worship. Indeed Allaah is good & He only accepts that which is good.

Revive a Sunnah: The Answer to, “Who created Allaah?!”

From Aishah, (radiyAllaahu anha), that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

Indeed the devil comes to you and says, ‘Who created you?’ He says, ‘Allaah.’ He says, ‘So who created Allaah?’ So when one of you finds that [i.e., such whisperings], let him read, ‘I believe in Allaah & His Messengers,’ for verily that will leave him.”
[Silsilah 116 Hasan]

From Abu Hurairah, (radiyAllaahu anhu), who said: “The Prophet of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“The devil comes to one of you & says, ‘Who created such and such? Who created such & such? Who created such & such?’ Until he says, ‘Who created your Lord?’ When he reaches that [level], then let one seek refuge with Allaah & refrain from such thoughts.”
[Bukhaari and Muslim, Silsilah no. 117]

The Ruling Concerning the One who Mocks the Religion of Allaah

Questioner: Mocking the religion which has been mentioned in His Saying, the Blessed and Most High, “Say, ‘Was it at Allaah, and His Aayat that you were mocking?  Make no excuse, you have disbelieved after you had believed …’” [Tawbah 9:66] is it kufr in belief [kufr i'tiqaadi] or disbelief in actions [kufr amali]?

Al-Albaani: There is no doubt that this is kufr in belief–infact, this is disbelief with two horns.  Because it is not possible for a believer no matter how weak his faith is to mock the Signs [aayaat] of Allaah the Mighty and Majestic.  And this type of disbelief is what comes under our previous statement where we would say, “It is not permissible to declare a Muslim to be outside the fold of Islaam except if something emanates from his tongue which shows us what has settled in his heart.”  So here, his mockery of the Signs of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, is the biggest confirmation from him that he does not believe in that which he is mocking.  So thus he is a disbeliever who has performed kufr in belief [i'tiqaadi].

The Hospitality of the Wrongdoer

1.  It is reported from Al-Hasan Al-Basri that a man said to him, “You have gossiped about me.” He (Al-Hasan) said, “You have not reached such a position that you can control my hasanaat!” 1

2.    Someone was told, “So-and-so has gossiped about you.” So he sent him a dish of dates with the message: “I heard that you had given me your hasanaat as a gift, and I want to return the favour; please excuse me for not being able to pay back in full.”

3.    It is reported from Ibn al-Mubarak (may Allaah have mercy on him) that he said, “If I were to indulge in backbiting about anyone, I would gossip about my parents, for they have more right to my hasanaat.”

What Exactly did Angel Mika’il see such that He Stopped Laughing?

From Anas ibn Maalik, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said to Jibreel عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلَامُ, “Why is it that I have never seen Mika’il laugh at all?”

He said, “Mika’il has never laughed since the Fire was created.”
