Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

Beautiful Dua
"And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says:
'My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.'"

The Ruling on taking Photographs Using Mobile Phones..
By: Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan
الله
Question: What is the ruling concerning taking
pictures using a mobile phone considering some people say that it is just
capturing a shadow and there is no prohibition in that, so what is the ruling
concerning that?
Answer: For HIM there is no prohibition in that, as
for the Sunnah and the evidences then picture taking/making in general is
Haraam (prohibited) and the picture maker is cursed. And he will receive from
the most severest of punishments on the Day of Judgment.
So, what is it that takes the mobile phone out from
this generality?
The Messenger
عليه وسلم made picture making Haraam without exception by any
means; (whether that be by way of) a mobile phone, a camera, by hand
(sculpting) or by drawing, he made it absolutely Haraam. So who is he that
makes an exception from what the Messenger صلى الله
said and attempts to redress the Messenger.
Apart from that the Muhaqqiqeen
(verifiers) from the Scholars make an exception in the case of necessity, if a
person is in need of taking a picture for a necessity then it is allowed due to
this necessity due to His saying - the Most High:
(وقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا
حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إلاَّ مَا اضْطُرِرْتُمْ إلَيْهِ )
while He has explained to you in detail what is
forbidden to you, except under compulsion of necessity? [Surah al-'An'aam:119]
SADNESS...
Ibnul Qayyim
الله said
the word (الحزن) –
(sadness) does not appear in the Qur'aan except in the form of forbidding it
or in the form of negating it
And the reason for this is because there is no
benefit for having sadness in the heart. The most beloved thing to Shaitan is
to make the believing slave sad by taking him off track.
The Prophet (ﷺ) sought
refuge in Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) from
sadness
Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes
determination and wanting to go forward. And there is nothing more beloved to
the Shaitan than the sadness of a believer."
For this reason, be happy, optimistic and think
good about Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى). Have trust in what Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) is
able to do and depend on Him. You will find happiness and pleasure in all
situations.
The Supplication of the Child for the Parent
The
Noble Sheikh Muqbil Ibnu Haadi al-Wadi’ee
in his book "al-Jaami' as-Saheeh" under the 9th Chapter of the Book
of Manners, he mentioned the following:
Chapter:
The Supplication of the Child for the Parent
He
then cited in this chapter the following hadeeth on the authority of Abu Huraira
who said the Messenger of
Surely
Allaah سبحانه وتعالى will raise the rank for
the righteous slave in Paradise. Then he will say: “My Lord, how is this mine?
He (Allaah) will say: Through your righteous child seeking forgiveness for you.
And in another narration --- (Through the supplication of your child for you).
The
hadeeth was reported by Ahmed (10203) and the other narration was reported by
al-Bazzaar as found in Kashf al-Astaar (4/39).
And was graded sound by Sheikh Muqbil
الله
in
the previous source as well as as-Saheeh al-Musnad (1389). As it was also
authenticated by al-Imam al-Albani رحمه in
"as-Saheeha" (1098).
Indeed
the previous hadeeth calls the attention of the believing slaves of Allaah, men
and women, young and old, to the great virtue which is supplicating for the
parents. This is a matter which many of us are unfortunately negligent of.

Ruling On When The Walimah Is Performed
Question addressed to Sheikh Abdul-Muhsin Al-Abbad
Does
the Walimah have a timing that it be before entering [upon the wife] or after
it? Does it have a time that ends?
Answer:
The Trials are Similar to the Flood...
The
Noble Sheikh Sâlih al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله) stated:
“Whoever leaves off
the Sunnah during the time of trials & tribulations is destroyed along with
those who are destroyed. The trials & tribulations are similar to the flood
water & nothing saves from it except holding onto the Sunnah.”
Sharh Risaalah al-‘Uboodiyyah
The Truth Seeker
The
Noble Sheikh Sâleh al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله) stated:
‘The one who is seeking the Truth is
happy with the advice (he receives) and also being alerted about the
mistake (he makes).’
