What drives away the afflictions of this world??

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said,

There is nothing that drives away the afflictions of this world except Tawheed. That is why the supplication of the distressed person is with Tawheed. Such as, the supplication of Yunus (alaihis salaatu was salaam). The distressed person does not supplicate with what Yunus supplicated with except that Allaah releases him from his hardship because of Tawheed. There is nothing more gruesome for the distressed person than shirk, and there is nothing that can rescue you from it except Tawheed, it is the refuge for the creation, its shelter, its fortress and its aid.

If Allâh helps you, NONE can overcome you….

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

If Allâh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allâh (Alone) let believers put their trust.

(Aali Imran 3:160)

Yearning for Allaah (azzawajal)is like the gentle breeze....

“Yearning for Allaah (azzawajal) & His meeting is like the gentle breeze blowing upon the heart, extinguishing the blaze of the Dunya. Whosoever caused his heart to settle with his Lord shall be in a state, calm & tranquility, & whosoever sent it amongst the people shall be disturbed & excessively perturbed.”

Authentic news about the Siege of Dammaj by the Students of Dammaj

Displaying Smoke from Rocket Attack.jpg
                                               [Source: http://siegeofdammaaj.blogspot.in]

14 Facts that you must know about this siege:

1. Dammaaj has been under siege by the Houthis three different times. Each time they find a new excuse to why they have implemented their siege upon Dammaaj. Keep in mind they are not the government. Some say they are a government inside of a government.
2. There is a difference between a siege and being attacked. We are upon both, going on now close forty days.
3. The Barraaqah is a mountain that completely over sees the institute. Sheikh Yahyaa Al-Hajoori (the head teacher in Dammaaj) agreed to surrender the mountain to the government on the condition that the soldiers to be stationed will be selected by the locals from Dammaaj (knowing they will selected from the upright). For it is known that there are those corrupt ones who cooperate with houthis from the military.
4. Those who are attacking Dammaaj have been spotted wearing official Yemeni military uniforms.
5. The houthis are upon the methodology of the Shia Twelvers (Rafidhah) not Zaidi as most reports state. This is because the creed they follow is the creed of the Rafidhah, so the labeling them Rafidhah is not for the purpose of insulting them. We will expound on the creed of the Rafidhah later so the reader may understand the difference between the creed of the Muslim and that of the Rafidhah.
6. It is well known the houthis have ties to Iran.
7. If the houthis would stop their attacks on Dammaaj, remove themselves from their illegal military positions surrounding Dammaaj, their unauthorized check points, and return to being citizens of Yemen there would be no war. There has never been any kind armed offensive pursuit on the houthis from the students of Dammaaj.
8. Foreigners have been coming to Dammaaj from different countries since the institute opened forty years ago. This is the first time in its history that the Dammaaj institute is being accused for recruiting “foreign Sunni fighters.” There is absolutely no proof for this claim. And we say bring your proof if you are indeed truthful. Now why would a man come with his whole family, sometimes with infants, to a come be a “Sunni Fighter???”

When will the HELP of Allaah come? - Part 2

Beautiful Dammaj... the walk to the Masjid
'Abi, are you going to Jannah while we are in the House?'

War affects children in different ways compared to adults. First, children are dependent on the care, empathy, and attention of adults who love them. Their attachments are frequently disrupted in times of war, due to the loss of parents, extreme preoccupation of parents in protecting and finding subsistence for the family and some not available to give them emotional stability.
Our friend's little daughter (from Nigeria) who is 5 asked her father when he was leaving home for Ribât (guarding the Islâmic Frontier for the sake of Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى): ''Abi, are you going to Jannah while we are in the house? Are we also going to Jannah?''

Smile! Alhamdulillaah how clever children are. She as young as 5 years is well aware of the reward that awaits the one who does Ribât. When this was mentioned to me, I wanted to post on the merits of Ribât taken From: Riyâd-us-Sâliheen (Vol.2, The Book of Jihâd, Chapter 234, #1290-1293).

1290.  Sahl bin Sa`d (رضي اللّه عنـه) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said, "Observing Ribat (e.g., guarding the Islâmic frontier for the sake of Allaah) for a single day is far better than the world and all that it contains. A place in Jannah as small as the whip of your horse is far better than the world and all that it contains. An endeavour (fighting) in the Cause of Allaah in the evening or in the morning is far better than the world and all that it contains.'' [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Commentary: This Hadith highlights the excellence of observing Ribât and fighting in the way of Allaah. It also highlights the insignificance of this world and the great reward in the Hereafter which can be attained through Jihad.

When will the HELP of Allaah come?? (Part 1)

When will the HELP of Allaah come??
The HELP of Allaah is very near!!

Our Lord the Most High says in His Noble Book,

"... or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the help of Allâh?" Yes! Certainly, the help of Allâh is near!"
(Al-Baqarah, 2:214)

Being a student of knowledge in Darul Hadeeth, we, my family, brothers and sisters residing in Dammaj (the Fortress of Sunnah) are experiencing the atrocities of 9th Harb (War 1435H/2013) by the Kuffār Rāfida who do not want the world to know and see the injustice being done to us ... but it is time for people to know the TRUTH!!

We seek the aid of Allaah  سُبحانه وتعالى in all our affairs!

'Allaah is sufficient for us, and how fine a trustee (He is).'

Verily, our eyes shed tears & our heart grieve for those who have lost their lives... but we don't say except that which pleases our Rabb (Lord) ...

"To Allaah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allaah recompense us for our affliction and replace it for us with something better."
(Muslim 2/632)

It is 40 days ... 1 month and over a week since scorching, searing hot metal has been raining on Dammaj mercilessly by none other than the Rāfida al Hoothiyoon (who are extreme Shiā declared Kāfir (disbelievers) by many of the Ulema (Scholars). We have been under siege with all road access cut off to Dammaj, whereby no food, medicine and aid can reach us. In fact, we are completely isolated due to the blockade and the Rāfida are bombing us and killing us wrongfully with heavy weapons day and night. They are massacring and butchering not only the innocent students of knowledge but also women, children and the elderly. Students of Dammaj hail from different parts of the world and they are far from equipped to deal with anti aircraft missiles and other heavy duty weaponry used by the Rāfida. How many have lost their lives leaving behind grieving widows and orphans!! How many have got their limbs blown off whilst others await urgent medical aid with severed and exposed organs. Even if the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) want to take our injured (whose numbers are in hundreds), they are curtailed by the Kuffār Rāfida. Being attacked by these long range weapons is a nightmare for us all especially for the kids who are jolted even in their sleep. We seek aid in these tragic times from our Rabb alone with patience and prayer for He the Almighty says in His Noble Book,

"Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope."
(Al-Baqarah, 2:286)

The Believer Should Not Give Up…

In advising us on how we should be in terms of looking for the ease after the hardship Sheikh as Sa’adi explained the following:

O mankind, fear Allaah. Ponder upon the way that Allaah has ordained for things to be in His creation. Verily He is praised because of that, and we are ever thankful to Him for it.

Know that whatever affects you from hardship, than it is because of that which your hands have put forth, and yet Allaah over looks a lot of our bad deeds and shortcomings. You have to understand that these problems and issues that the people are going through, can only be removed by the one that is All Powerful over everything. The time will come that He replaces the hardship with its opposite (or ease). We know this because this is that which has been promised by The Truthful, The All Hearing and The All Seeing.

Relieving a Believer’s Hardships…

“Whoever helps a believer with a hardship from the hardships of this life, Allaah will help him with a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection.

Merits of Ribaat and Jihad

1303 - Abu `Abs `Abdur-Rahman bin Jabr (رضي اللّه عنـه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said, "It will not happen that the feet soiled with dust while (doing Jihad) in the way of Allah, will be touched by the fire (of Hell).''
[Al-Bukhari]

Commentary: "Feet soiled with dust'' means participation in Jihad. That is to say, a person takes part in Jihad and yet goes to Hell is altogether impossible. What it signifies is that Jihad is a means of expiation of sins and that it guarantees the admission into Jannah, provided he is not guilty of major sins. This exception is confirmed by other Ahadith.

1304 - Abu Hurairah (رضي اللّه عنـه) said: The Messenger of Allaah (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said, "No one who weeps out of Fear of Allaah will enter Hell until milk recedes to the udder, and the dust endured while striving in the Cause of Allaah and the smoke of Hell will never subsist together.''
[At-Tirmidhi]

Commentary: This Hadith makes use of a metaphor to stress the impossible. One who weeps for Fear of Allaah and one who is covered with the dust of the battlefield in the course of Jihad, will in no case enter Hell until the milk drawn from udder goes back to it. The dust of the battlefield of Jihad and the smoke of Hell cannot combine at one place. The mixing of the two is utterly impossible. However, this will apply only if one's `Aqeedah is correct and one's intention is correct (i.e., one participates in Jihad with the intention to please Allaah Alone).

1305 - Ibn `Abbas (رضي اللّه عنـه) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) saying, "Two eyes will never be touched by the fire of Hell; an eye which weeps out of Fear of Allah and an eye which spends the night in guarding in the Cause of Allah .''
[At-Tirmidhi]

Commentary: This Hadith tells us about the eminence of the person who weeps out of Fear of Allah and also brings into prominence the distinction of the Mujahid who keeps a vigil during Jihad.
