When will the HELP of Allaah come?? (Part 3)

It is nearly two months into this brutal war ... what has brought tranquility to our grieving hearts is implementing the beneficial ilm - knowledge (which is the best companion in times of trials & tribulations) & of course seeking refuge in my Most Merciful Lord, Who gives tremendously & grants abundantly, the One calling out to His slaves everyday inviting them to repentance & forgiveness.

Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله  said: "Grief weakens the heart, determination & hurts the will; nothing is more beloved to Shaytaan than a sad believer." Insha-Allaah, I will be posting my transcriptions, which is a series of Naseehah given to us by Brother Nawwas al-Hindi during these trying times. May Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى  reward him immensely for continuing to benefit his students amidst the various trials we are facing...

Guidance from the Sunnah in treating the heat of afflictions,
its grief & worry
(part 1)

Also read about: ' The patience of the mother of Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), Umm Sulaym (رضي الله عنها)  about whom the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said: I entered Paradise, and heard footsteps. So, I asked, ‘Who is this?’ and they told me, ‘It is al-Ghumaysa’ (رضي الله عنها), the daughter of Milhan, the mother of Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) (Umm Sulaym (رضي الله عنها)).

What drives away the afflictions of this world??

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said,

There is nothing that drives away the afflictions of this world except Tawheed. That is why the supplication of the distressed person is with Tawheed. Such as, the supplication of Yunus (alaihis salaatu was salaam). The distressed person does not supplicate with what Yunus supplicated with except that Allaah releases him from his hardship because of Tawheed. There is nothing more gruesome for the distressed person than shirk, and there is nothing that can rescue you from it except Tawheed, it is the refuge for the creation, its shelter, its fortress and its aid.
