Wahb bin Munabbih رحمه الله stated:
“Memorize three things from me:
●Beware of (evil) desires that are followed.
●Beware of (having) an evil companion.
●Beware of (being) a person who is amazed with himself.”

Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

Our Shaykh Abu Bilaal Al-Hadhramy- may Allah preserve him- was asked the following question on 30th Sha'baan 1441 ( 23rd April 2020):
Question: How did The Salaf prepare for the month of Ramadan?
Answer: First of all, they would be overjoyed by its arrival and rejoice at it.
(1. Supplication)
They would spend six months asking Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) to allow them to reach Ramadan and if they fasted Ramadan; they would spend (the next) six months asking Allah to accept it from them.It has indeed been reported that Yahya ibn Abee Kathir (may Allah have mercy upon him) used to say:
"اللهم سلِّمنا لرمضان وسلِّم رمضان لنا"
"Oh Allah; deliver us to Ramadan and deliver Ramadan to us."
It is a month of sweet scented blessings, a month of forgiveness of sins and a month of goodness - all of it.
(2. Recitation of The Qur’ān)
So there is no doubt that it is a bringer of joy and the Salaf were certainly overjoyed with it. From their over enjoyment, they would recite the book of Allaah more in it than outside of it.In fact; it was mentioned regarding Sufyān At-Thawree (may Allah have mercy upon him - that when Ramadan entered he would leave all actions and devote his (complete) attention to The Qur’ān.
Similarly, it was also reported that Imam Malik - may Allah have mercy upon him) despite his deep love for narrating hadith and hadith in general; once Ramadan had entered he devoted his (complete) attention to The Qur’ān and stopped narrating hadith, this was his preparation.
(3. Sitting in the Masjid)
Our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abū 'Abdirrahmān Yahya bin 'Alī Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him - mentioned on the 28th Rajab 1442:
"The funeral prayer does not compensate for Tahiyyatul Masjid (1) due to there being no rukoo' in it and the hadeeth states:
"Until he performs rak'atain (two rukoo')"
And likewise witr by itself (one rak'ah) does not compensate for it either because in the hadeeth:
"Until he performs rak'atain"

Question: The one who is forgiven, are his sins erased from his scrolls?
Answer: Yes, they are erased, if Allāh forgives him, he erases them for him.
"Allāh blots out what He wills and confirms (what He wills). And with Him is the Mother of the Book (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfūdh)"
[Ar-Ra'd, 39]
"For those, Allāh will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[Al-Furqān, 70]
So they are erased. His statement 'forgive', it (means) covering and erasing and removing.
"Say: "O 'Ibādi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allāh, verily Allāh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[Az-Zumar, 53]
And the black thawb is more concealing of stains, so it includes covering and erasing.

Question: If the father prevents (his daughter) from marrying, does the guardianship transfer to the wali next in line or to the judge straight away?
Answer: In the Hadith,
"Then the ruler/judge is the wali (guardian) of the one who has no wali (guardian)."
So if it is possible for the brother for example to take the place of the father and take guardianship of her, then verily she has guardians other than the father, it enters into the (Hadith) one who has no wali and he is a wali to her and he is the brother.
By our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abū 'Abdirrahmān Yahya bin 'Alī Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him -

89 - (572) Uthmān, Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shaibah and Ishāq bin Ibrāhīm narrated to us on the authority of Jarīr - Uthmān said: Jarīr narrated to us on the authority of Mansūr, on the authority of Ibrāhīm, on the authority of Alqamah, he siad: Abdullāh (Ibn Mas'ūd) said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prayed and made salutations ~ Ibrāhīm said: "He made an addition or an omission" ~ so when he made the salutations it was said to him: "O Messenger of Allāh, has there occurred something new in the prayer? He said: "And what is that? They said: "You prayed such and such (amount)." He (the narrator) said: "So he turned his feet and faced the Qiblah and performed two prostrations and then made the salutations, and then turned and faced towards us and said: "Indeed if something new in the prayer occurs, I would inform you of it. But verily I am a human being and I forget as you forget, so if I forget, remind me, and if any of you is in doubt in his prayer, then let him struggle to remember what is correct, and complete his prayer upon that and then make two prostrations."
"So when he made the salutations it was said to him: "O Messenger of Allāh, has there occurred something new in the prayer? He said: "And what is that? They said: "You prayed such and such (amount)." He (the narrator) said: "So he turned his feet and faced the Qiblah and made two prostrations and then made the salutations."
Ramadhan - Benefits & Rulings (1)
~Umm Hyatt
Allaah سبحانه و تعالى says in Surah Al- Baqarah, (2:183):
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun.
(Al-Baqarah, 2:183)
From this verse, we benefit that fasting is not specific for the ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ) alone. Rather, He made it obligatory for those nations before Muhammad (ﷺ).
From the benefits of fasting is that:
There is no specific reward (not a particular number) for the fasting person; rather, the reward is with Allaah (عزّوجلّ). There is no limit to the reward given to fasting. It does not have a specific amount of reward. Allaah (عزّوجلّ) has mentioned that the reward is upon Him and He rewards without any limitations.
The hadith of Abi Hurairah in Bukhari & Muslim where the Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"(Allaah said), 'Every good deed of Aadam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.'
Because of the greatness and importance of fasting and the love for this particular worship, He (عزّوجلّ) has made it specifically for Him.
There is no limit of reward He bestows on the fasting person.
