Benefits (Fadl) of Wudhu - Lesson 1

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

The Books used:
¬ Risaalah of Sheikh Yahya al-Hajoorie حفظه الله Explanation of the 'Aayat-ul-Wudhu'. (5:6)
¬ Sheikh Abdur Rahman al-Aryaani - 'Book of Wudhu'

 Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى  says:
إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Truly, Allâh loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves...”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

This is the daleel (evidence) that if one wants to obtain the love of Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى  he must perform Wudhu. The above verse consists of two meanings:

Allaahسُبحانه وتعالى  loves those who repent regularly / consistently. The Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم repented to Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى  more than 70 to 100 times a day. So what about us?

With the love of Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى comes ‘Thawfeeq’.

Three things destroy

The Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said:

‘Three things destroy:
The greed that is obeyed, the desires that are followed and a person being amazed with his own opinion.’

A benefit from Brother Alee bin Rasheed al'Afaree of aloloom Arabic site.
A few lines of poetry.

إذا نطق السفيه فلا تجبه
فخير من إجابته السكوت
إذا كلمته فرجت عنه
وإن خليته كمدا يموت

which means: "If the fool starts speaking, don’t answer him;
silence is better than responding to him.
If you answer him he is relieved;
 and if you avoid him he will die with grief.

"Not everyone adorned with knowledge ..."

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:

“Not everyone adorned with knowledge and wisdom and is portrayed with it is from its people; rather the people of knowledge and wisdom are those who give life to their hearts by killing the desires. As for the one who kills his heart and thus gives life to desires, then knowledge and wisdom are (merely) on his tongue (i.e. not acting upon such knowledge and wisdom).”
