Al-Bara’a Ibn Aazib (Bukhari), the Prophet
said:
“If you have come to your bed then make
Wudhu (perfect the Wudhu like that of salaah with all the conditions), then lie
down on your right side and recites the following adkhar (making this his last
speech), and if you die then, you would have died upon the fitrah.”
** From the
signs of a believer is that he perfects his Wudhu **
The Daleel for this is the Hadeeth of Thawbaan (a Sahabah) as
recorded in Ibn Majah (Sheikh Al-Albani made it saheeh) that the Prophet
said:
“Know that the
best of your actions is your Salaah and none preserves the Wudhu except the
believer.”
From this Hadeeth, the Ulema mention that:
“The signs of a
believer is that he preserves his Wudhu.”
The Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم said:
“Whoever makes Wudhu
before he goes to sleep, lies on the right side and mentions Allaah (Bi
Zikrillaah and he then he has gone to bed… )… if he then dies, he will die upon
the natural fitrah.”
(Al-Bukhari with
Al-Fath 11/113 and Muslim 4/2081)
*** Adkhar before going to sleep. (Bukhari and
Muslim)
*** Fitrah: (the religion of Islaam, the way of Ibrahim
