The Trial of the so called Caliphate of ‘Iraaq - Sheikh ‘Abdul Muhsin Al ‘Abbaad

All praise is due to Allaah and may the peace and blessings be upon whom there is no Prophet after him, our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and his companions, as to what proceeds.

Some years ago in ‘Iraaq a group that called itself the Islamic State of ‘Iraaq and Shaam1 has emerged and they have become known by four letters (داعش).2 And those who have taken its leadership, as those who have followed news about them mention, are many whose names are Abu so and so or Abu so and so the son of so and so, appellations which are ascribed to a particular country or tribe as is the state of those unknown who hide behind appellations and ascriptions3. And after some time passed with the war which occurred between the Syrian government and those who oppose them, groups of these fighters came who didn’t oppose the government. Rather, they fought Ahlus Sunnah (Sunnis) who were opposed to the government and slew them. And it has become widespread that they slay those who they wish to slay by using knives which is from the most loathsome and offensive ways in killing human beings4.

Sheikh Uthaimeen

It is NOT importance when the person will die or where the person will die. It is not important that he dies in Mecca or in Medina or another place from the lands of Allaah. It is not important that he dies on Friday, or Monday or any other day of the week. The only thing which is important is in what condition the person will die. This is what is important.

In what condition will the person die?
Will you die upon Imaan (faith), sincerity, and Tawheed?

Do not Marry 7 types of Women

 Taken from the Book
A Concise Manual of Marriage’ by Sheikh Uthaimeen

1. Al-Annaanah:
The woman who whines, moans and complains and ‘ties a band around her head’ all the time (i.e. complains of a headache or some illness but in reality she is not sick, rather she is faking).

2. Al-Mannaanah:
The woman who bestows favours, gifts, etc. upon her husband then (at that time or the future) says; “I did such and such for you or on your behalf or because of you.'

Notes from Mukhtasar Minhaj Al-Qâsidin (Towards the Hereafter)

By: Ibn Qudamah Al-Maqdisi

Taught by: Umm Hyatt al-Ameriki
Notes: Umm Hasna bint Jabir as-Saylâniyyah

The journey to Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى is not by our feet. We travel to Allaah with our heart. This is how we find closeness to Allaah. Our enemy is the one who tries to distract a person or to reduce his faith. He is the obstacle on our way to Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى. Who is that enemy? He is none other than 'Shaitaan.'

Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى says in the Noble Qur'aan:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا
"Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy."
(Surah al-Fatir 35:6)

Allaah has given Shaitaan the ability to flow in the body of man in a way which we do not understand. What follows is a brief look into the tricks and plots of Shaitaan. I hope these notes will insha-Allaah serve as a handy weapon in combating Shaitaan and all success lies with Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى. May Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى preserve and reward our teacher Umm Hyatt حفظها الله for teaching us this book with sabr and clarity. All Praise is due to Allaah.

Preserve your Salaah, tongue & heart...

A man came to the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) and said: 'Admonish me and be brief,' So the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said to him:

إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ
'When you stand for your prayer, then pray a farewell prayer (i.e. as if it is your last Salaah before death).'

"Do not speak with a statement for which you may have to apologize tomorrow.”

"And forgo what is in the hands of the people (i.e. do not be desperate for the worldly possessions of the people).”
