What is the right age to get children used to fasting?
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (رحمهم الله) said:Allaah has enjoined fasting upon every Muslim who is accountable, able to do it and not traveling. As for young children who have not yet reached the age of puberty, fasting is not obligatory for them, because the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said: “The pen has been lifted from three” and he mentioned young children until they reach puberty.

Today, we have with us our Noble Sheikh Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Lamh al-Kawlani حفظه الله and today's lecture is on the topic 'The wisdom behind the legislation of the month of Ramadhan and the secrets behind that.
