Sheikh Saleh al Fawzaan
Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

Know that Nasr (aid) is accompanied by having Sabr (patience)
Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzaan
From the modes of
Sabr, is having
patience upon the decree of Allaah that is distressful in what happens to the
servant from the calamities and by definition it is restraining the soul from becoming
restless/impatient, refraining the tongue from complaining, wailing and
mourning; refraining the body from unlawful actions like
striking the side of the face, tearing the clothes and making supplication of
the Pre-Islaamic Era [i.e. all these occurrences are from one who mourns the
deceased].
And having patience upon the calamity that
happens suddenly is similar to what the Prophet (صلّى
“Patience
is with the first blow.”
And Allaah (سُبحانه
"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.)."
(Al-Baqarah 2:155)
Therefore it is a
duty placed upon the believer to be patient upon whatever befalls him and
whatever patience has been made easy upon him towards those affairs.

Advice to the Muslim Ummah Regarding the Tyrannical Atrocities that Occur Upon Us
Shaykh Saalih Ibn Fawzaan
Al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله) stated:
"The actions, disbelief and evil of the Yahood (Jews) is
well known, even (with regards) to (their relationship) with their Prophets.
They killed their Prophets and (also) is that which occurred with Kaleemullaah
- Moosaa (عليه السلام), such as what Allaah has related in the
Qur`aan (regarding) the story of Moosaa and Haaroon (عليه السلام).
The character, disbelief, misguidance and evil of the Yahood is
well known - even towards their Prophets - but what is obligatory upon us
(Muslims) is that we ponder and rectify our deviated affairs and repent to
Allaah because the Yahood have not gained the upper hand over us except due to
our sins. Why is it that we do not hear anyone addressing and admonishing the
Muslims whilst saying to them: 'What has happened to you is (nothing else), but
as a result of your turning away from the religion of Allaah and negligence in
the affairs of the Deen. So repent to Allaah in order that Allaah may aid you
and avert the plot of the plotters from you.'
We do not hear except insult, abuse, and supplication against
the Yahood, but this should be substituted with supplicating to Allaah to
rectify the Muslims and to make them steadfast. And to mention to the Muslims
that they should repent and return to Allaah, and rectify their Deen for the
sake of Allaah. This is the first obligation.

Claim this month of Ramadhan!
Advice of Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzan (حفظه الله)
Since already half of Ramadhan has
passed away, we should not let go of the enthusiasm and eagerness we had in the
beginning of this blessed month. Every minute of this month counts, so
don’t let yourself lose out on this great opportunity which Allaah has blessed
you with by keeping you alive to witness this year’s Ramadhan.
This is a small piece of advice
extracted from few of Sheikh Salih ibn al-Fawzaan al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah)’s
answers and Khutbahs.
The Shaykh said in a Khutbah:
“O people, fear Allaah, Exalted be
He, & know that you have a great month & a generous season “The month
of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind, &
clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong).”
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:185]
It is a month
of mercy, a month of forgiveness and the month of freedom from the Hell Fire. So make use of it before
it passes away. Avail yourself from the best of its time and repent from sins.
Increase in good deeds. The wretched ones are deprived
of its good. Whoever Allaah has deprived of
this great season (by the decree of Allaah), he is deprived. And the true deprivation is not of what he loses in the world but
from what he loses in the Hereafter.

Reality of ‘Tawakkul' (relying upon Allaah) by Sheikh Saalih Al-Fawzan- Part 1
The Meaning of Reliance (Tawakkul) on Allaah
Shaikh Saleh bin Fawzaan
Al-Fawzaan
Relying on Allaah (tawakkul) is one of the Greatest
forms of worship. Allaah says:
“So upon Allaah, put
your trust if you are truly believers.”
Surah Al-Maa’idah (5:23)
So He made relying upon Allaah (tawakkul)
a condition for Eemaan (Faith). Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى said to His Prophet ﷺ :
فَإِذَا
عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ
“So when you have
made a decision, then put your trust in Allaah.”
Surah Aali ‘Imraan (3:159)
So He ordered His Prophet to put his trust and reliance on Allaah.
He سُبحانه
“O Prophet! Allaah is
sufficient for you & for the believers who follow you.”
Surah
Al-Anfaal (8:64)
“And whosoever fears Allâh & keeps his
duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).”
At-Talaq (65:2)
“And He will provide
him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever
puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allâh
will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allâh has set a measure for all things.”
Surah At-Talaq (65:3)
“And whoever is dutiful to Allaah, He will make his matter easy
for him.”
Surah At-Talaaq (65: 4)

Important means to assist the woman during Ramadhan
Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzaan
Question: What are the most important means that will assist the
woman upon obedience during the month of Ramadan?
Answer: The means that will
assist the Muslim upon obedience to Allaah whether they are male or female are
as follows.
1. Fear of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى & to believe that He is observing the
creation in all of their actions, & statements, & intentions & that
He will take them to account for all of that. Therefore if the person is
cognizant of this reality then he will busy himself with the obedience of Allaah
leave off sins & he will hasten to repent from his wrongdoings.
2. Increase in the remembrance of Allaah & the recitation of the Qur’aan
because this will soften the heart. Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى
said:
‘Those who believe, & whose
hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allaah: for without doubt in the remembrance
of Allaah do hearts find satisfaction’.

The Condition of the Salaf in Ramadhan - Sheikh Saeh al-Fawzaan
The condition of the Salaf, as it is
recorded in the narrated books with chains of narrations from the trustworthy
people (narrating) from them is that they would ask Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى to make them reach Ramadhan
before it entered; they would ask Allaah to make
them reach the month of Ramadhan due to what they knew that it
contained from abundant good and general benefit. Then, when Ramadhan entered, they would ask Allaah to aid them
upon righteous actions therein. The when
Ramadhan ended they would ask Allaah to accept it from them. As
"And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning)."
(Al-Mu'minun 23:60)
