It’s good to leave each day behind, like flowing water,
“It’s
good to leave each day behind, like flowing water, free of sadness. Yesterday
is gone and its tale told... today new seeds are growing...”
If knowledge is not acted upon, it becomes a proof against you....
إذا العلم تعمل به كان
حجَّه عليك ولم تعذر بما أنت حامل
فإن كنت قد أبصرت هذا فإنَّما يصدِّق قول المرءٍ ما هو فاعل
"If knowledge is not acted upon, it becomes a proof against you.
And you will not be excused for what you carry (i.e. of knowledge)
So if you come to realize this fact, then you will also realize
That the proof of a man's speech lies in his actions."
فإن كنت قد أبصرت هذا فإنَّما يصدِّق قول المرءٍ ما هو فاعل

under the chapter [From Shirk is to seek Aid & Assistance (after a calamity
befalls) from other than Allaah or to call upon others]:
“Indeed
Sheikh-ul-Islaam ibn Tamiyyah رحمه الله mentioned in many of his works – Indeed that
which occurs to the worshippers of graves in terms of their needs being
fulfilled [i.e. the affair they seek at the grave
Bid'ah alert for 15th of Shaban : Shab-e-Baraat
Specifying
the day of the 15th of Sha’baan by fasting or reciting the Qur’aan
or performing naafilah prayers

Question 1: We see some
people specifying the 15th of Sha’baan with particular supplications and
reciting the Qur’aan and performing naafilah prayers. So what is the correct
position concerning this, and may Allaah reward you with good?

2: Is standing the night of the 15th of Sha’baan in
prayer & fasting during its day legislated?
