Authentic Islaamic material based upon the Qur'aan & Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Pious Predecessors) from the corner of a Salafi Home... Sheikh Muqbil رحمه الله said: "Fear الله and teach your families, teach your sons & daughters. How wonderful is the home in which its people are upon the sunnah."

Your Hamm...! Sincere Advice to sisters
Umm ‘Abdillaah ‘Aaishah Al Waadi’iyyah حفظها الله (daughter
of Sheikh Muqbil bin Haadee رحمه الله) said after the opening du’aa (via
tele-link):
“O sisters, Upon us is
to have mercy upon ourselves. Save yourselves from the Fire. There is no way
out for anyone from the Fitnah that we are in now, except by sticking to what
the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) came with.”
Hadeeth of Abu Najeeh Al ‘Irbaad bin Sariyyah’ (رضي اللّه عنـه):
The Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) admonished us with an intense sermon which caused our hearts
to tremble, and the eyes to shed tears. So, we said: 'Yaa Rasoolallaah (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) this is as if it were your last sermon.'
{Aboo Daawood and others declared it Saheeh}
“There is no way out for anyone except by sticking to the
Sunnah which the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) came with. This holding requires submission, a complete
submission. As believers, it is a must on us. We have to say regarding any
command from Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى and HIS
Messenger (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم), “Sami’naa wa ata’naa,” (We hear and we obey), and
not like the Yahood (Jews) who said, “We hear and we disobey.”
It is not befitting for the believing man nor the believing
woman, when the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) comes with a decision, that they have a choice after him.
“O sisters, the truth is very heavy. Falsehood is light (easy
to accept). It is very heavy, except for those whom Allaah made it easy and
guided them for that.”
Al Hadeeth:
Jannah is surrounded by undesirable things, and
the Fire is surrounded by desires. “O sisters, it is upon us that
we get used to submitting to Allaah.”
Umm ‘Abdillaah (حفظها الله) mentioned a poem:
“Your nafs are always wanting if you make it a habit. If you
control and limit yourself, that is what your nafs will get used to.”
“Do not say ‘why’ to the command of Allaah.” Umm
‘Abdillaah (حفظها الله), gave the example of Salaat by saying; “Pray and get used
to it. We are commanded to Fast, so you must Fast, make Hajj and ‘Umrah. HE, سُبحانه وتعالى, has made certain things compulsory
towards the husband and we do not say why.”
“O sisters, it is up to us to preserve our tongues,
especially because the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) told us the reason why women are the majority in the Hell
Fire. Be more careful than men. Women curse a lot and have many complaints. It
is not a good habit to complain to this sister, that sister, to this one, and
that one. Guard your tongue.”
Trees of the Heart
Imaam
Ibnul Qayyim (رحمه الله)
said in Al Fawa'id, Pages: 239-240:
Ikhlaas
and Tawheed are a tree in the heart. Its branches are the actions, and
its fruits are the good life in this Dunyah and everlasting bliss in the Aakhirah.
And just as the fruits of Jannah are neither cut off (by change of season) nor out of reach, likewise is the case with the fruits of Tawheed and Ikhlaas.
Shirk, lies, and riyaa are a tree in
the heart. Its fruits in the Dunyah are fear and anxiety, grief and distress of
the breast and oppression upon the heart. Its fruits in the afterlife are the
tree of zaqqoom and an everlasting punishment.
And Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى has made mention of these two trees in Surah al Ibrahim:
And Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى has made mention of these two trees in Surah al Ibrahim:
"See you not how Allaah sets forth a parable? A goodly word as a goodly
tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky
(i.e. very high). Giving its fruits at all times, by the leave of its
Lord, and Allaah sets forth parables for mankind in order that they may
remember. And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree
uprooted from the surface of earth, having no stability."

Light on the tongue, heavy on the scales
The Messenger
of Allaah (ﷺ) said, "There are two statements that are light on the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales
and are dear to the Merciful: 'Subhan-Allaahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allaahil-Azeem.'
[Glory be to Allaah & His is the praise, (and) Allaah,
the Greatest is free from imperfection]'.
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
The reward of those
who have a heavy scale is mentioned by Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى
in His Noble Book:
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
'Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,
'Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,
He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise).'

The ILL Effects of Sins
Imâm
Shaafi’ee (رحمه
الله) said:
“I complained to
Wakee’ about the weakness of my memory, so he ordered me to abandon
disobedience. And informed me that the knowledge is light. And that the light
of Allaah is not given to the disobedient. ”
TWO: The prevention of sustenance: Just as Taqwaa
brings about sustenance, the abandonment of Taqwaa causes poverty. There
is nothing which can bring about sustenance like the abandonment of
disobedience.
THREE: The prevention of obedience (to
Allaah): If there was no other punishment for sin other than that it prevents
one from obedience to Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى then
this would be sufficient.
FOUR: Disobedience
weakens the heart and the body: Its weakening the heart is something which is
clear. Disobedience does not stop weakening it until the life of the heart
ceases completely.
FIVE: Disobedience
reduces the lifespan and destroys any blessings: Just as righteousness
increases the lifespan, sinning reduces it.
SIX: Disobedience
sows its own seeds and gives birth to itself until separating from it and
coming out of it becomes difficult for the servant.
SEVEN: Sins weaken
the hearts will and resolve so that the desire for disobedience becomes strong
and the desire to repent becomes weak bit by bit until the desire to repent is
removed from the heart completely.
EIGHT: Every type of disobedience is a
legacy of a nation from among the nations which Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى destroyed. Sodomy is a legacy of
the People of Lot, taking more than one’s due right and giving what is less is
a legacy of the People of Shu’ayb, seeking greatness in the land and causing
corruption is a legacy of the People of Pharoah and pride/arrogance and tyranny
is a legacy of the People of Hud. So the disobedient one is wearing the gown of
some of these nations who were the enemies of Allaah سُبحانه
وتعالى.

What happens after one dies?
Know, O slave of Allaah!
Your
deeds are the means to your success or your destruction in the Hereafter...
So,
think carefully about your future!
Your
health & your strength cannot save you from the punishment of the grave;
nor your
wealth, family & tribesmen can aid you in the standing before your Lord
on
the Day of Judgment;
nor will the tears of your loved ones benefit
you when your deeds are
placed on the scale.
So, fear
your lord and look to your deeds and seek not but the pleasure of Allaah!

DO NOT ABANDON Fajr prayer & DO NOT be HEEDLESS about it !
The Messenger of Allaah صلّى
اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم said:
“Whoever prays Fajr is under the protection of Allaah, so DO NOT fall short with regard to the rights of Allaah, for anyone who does that,
Allaah will seize him and will throw him on his face into the Fire of Hell.”
[Muslim 657]
Al-Teebi رحمه الله said:
Al-Teebi رحمه الله said:
"The reason why Fajr prayer is singled out for mention
here is because of the hardship that it entails, and performing it is a sign of
a man’s sincerity and faith, and whoever is a sincere believer is under the
protection of Allaah."
[Sharh Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh by al-Teebi (2/184)]
Al-Baydaawi رحمه الله said:
Al-Baydaawi رحمه الله said:
"It may be that what is meant by protection is that
prayer brings security (from the punishment of Allaah), so what is meant is: Do NOT abandon Fajr prayer, and DO NOT be
heedless about it, lest you break the covenant that exists between you and your
Lord, and Allaah seizes you, for whomever He seizes He will throw on his face
into the Fire. That is because Fajr prayer is somewhat difficult and
burdensome. So performing it is a sign of the believer’s sincerity, and the one
who is sincere is under the protection of Allaah."

What is the best way to seek knowledge?
Question: Briefly,
what is the way to seek knowledge, and may Allaah reward you with good?
Response by Sheikh ibn ‘Uthaimeen رحمه الله:
Briefly, in point
form, the way to seek knowledge is as follows:
1) Take
care to memorize the Book of Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى and allocate some time every day to memorize and read, such that
your recitation is with reflection and understanding. And if you come across a
beneficial point whilst reading, then make a note of it;
2) Take
care to memorize that which is easy (for you) from the authentic Sunnah of the
Messenger صلّى
اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم and from that
(I recommend) memorizing (the book) ‘Umdatul-Ahkaam;
3) Take
care in concentrating and confirming (whilst seeking knowledge) such that you do not take a little knowledge from
here and a little from there. This is because this wastes your time and
(unnecessarily) busies your mind;
4) Start
with the smaller books and study them well, then move on to that which is above
this (in level) until you obtain
knowledge little by little in a manner which makes firm (the knowledge) in your
heart and to that which you are at peace (comfortable) with;
5) Take
care to understand the fundamental issues, their rules and the limits of all
that passes by you, as it has
been said:
Whoever
does not take care to learn the fundamentals/principles, then he has prevented
(himself) from arriving at the conclusion/goal;
