Sheikh ibn Baaz’s value for time

Concerning the Imaam, the Shaykh - ’Abdul-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (rahimahullaah), it has been narrated that he valued his time to such an extent that:

“If he requested something from someone on the other end of the telephone, & was required to wait for a response, he would pass his time glorifying Allaah (saying: Subhaan-Allaah) & seeking forgiveness from Allaah (saying: astaghfirullaah).”

A Salaf said.............

A Salaf once narrated: 

" Don't look at how minor the sin is that you committed, but look at the glory of the One you disobeyed, i.e. Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'ala)." 

 

(A sin, even if it is a minor one, means disobedience to Allaah, hence defying the glorification of Allaah and the glorification of Allaah is actually one of the Principles of Tawheed.)
