Be Kind Ya Husbands and Wives!

Question: What is the ruling of the one who has good relations with the people (outside) but is of bad character in his home, easily angered? May Allaah reward you with goodness.

Answer: What is compulsory on a woman and what we advice her with is to be good to her husband, because he faces many problems, unbelievable problems. Yes, by Allaah! He faces the problems of sustenance, problems of liabilities and other problems. So, it is incumbent on her if he enters upon her, she should be good to him. She should emulate Khadeejah (radiAllaahu anha) when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) came to her and complained to her, “I fear that something would happen to me,” and she said to him, “Nay by Allaah! Allaah will never disgrace you, you keep good relations with your kin, you help all,” and she mentioned something of the character of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and I advise the righteous woman to be good to her husband.

Alhamdulillaah, the decision to come to Dammaj was one of the BEST decision we as a family ever made. SubhanaAllaah! I cannot explain in words the ni'mah of this place.. everything according to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam). You have to see for yourself to belive it!! See no evil.. smile.. makes it easier for us to practice our Deen. All those who are here have migrated from their homelands, have done hijrah or are seeking ilm. They are here for one purpose and that is for the sake of Allaah azzawajal, to learn His Deen from the rightly guided Ulema of Sunnah... sacrificing their Dunya for the Aakhirah which is forever. Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) makes the path to Jannah that of ease for a student of knowledge. Alhamdulillaah! This is a great motivation and a goal to focus on...! Jannah... a place of eternal happiness.. no sorrow, no pain, no sadness, no sickness.. but happiness forever and forever... !

 

                                                    

It feels so good that we are all united under the banner of Laa ilaaha Illallaah, to seek ilm for His pleasure alone.. striving for Jannah. Various nationalities .. you name it… Americans, British, Russians, Indonesians, French, Tanzanians, Indians, Pakistani, Sri Lankans, Canadians, Somalis, … the list is endless…! Though things sound rosy in that aspect, it has its trials too. There is no gain without pain. smile.
