Whatever He (azzawajal) wills…

"So whatever He wills,
Will be,
at the time that He wills,
in the way that He wills,
with No addition nor omission,
no precedence nor delay.”

"Sell your current life for your latter life.."

Imaam al-Hasan al-Basree (rahimahullaah) said:

“O son of Aadam! Sell your current life for your latter life, and you will win both. Do not sell your latter life for this life, for you will lose them both. The period of stay is short, and the righteous ones went away before you, so what are you waiting for? Do you wait your turn? By Allah, it is about to come, and then the latter ones will join the former ones amongst you.”

[At-Tabseerah, vol. 1, p.368]

Who is Bankrupt on the Day of Judgement??

Ibn ul-Jawzi (rahimahullaah) said:

“By Allaah, one should implement what he knows for it is indeed the greatest foundation. And the Miskeen (poor) , the true Miskeen is the one who wasted his life learning that which he does not practice, thus he looses the pleasures of the Dunyaa (world) and the goodness of the Aakhirah (hereafter), coming forth bankrupt (on the Day of Judgment) with strong evidences against himself.”

Know That Leaving The Correct Path Occurs In Two Ways

Beautiful Dew Drops 15

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said:

Know that leaving the correct path occurs in two ways. Firstly: that a man strays from the correct path intending nothing but good, so his error is not to be followed since it leads to destruction. Secondly, a man who deliberately opposes the truth and acts contrary to the Pious ones who came before him, he is astray, leading others astray, a rebellious devil within the Ummah. It is a duty upon those who know of him to warn the people against him and to explain his condition to them so that no one falls into his innovation and is destroyed.’¹

Sheikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) comments on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) saying:

White lies vs. Black lies

Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzan (hafithahuAllaah)

Question: The questioner asks O Shaykh; is there such thing as white lies and black lies?

Sheikh Fawzan: All lies are black, there are no white lies; all of them are black and they are not permissible. Except in the three situations mentioned by the Prophet, prayers and peace are upon him: Lying in order to make peace between people who have had a falling out; or the spouses lying to each other in an effort to mend the relationship; or lying in an effort to escape the oppressor, in order to escape from the oppressor. And this is called: Interpretation. Outside of this, lying is haraam; all of them. And lying is from the Major Sins and it is NOT permissible.
