People of Paradise and Hell-Fire!

Image result for Paradise and Hellfire

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb Al-Khuzai (رضي اللّه عنـه):

I heard the Prophet صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم saying. "May I tell you of the people of Paradise? They are every weak, poor and obscure person whom the people look down upon but when he takes an oath to do something, his oath is fulfilled by Allaah. And may I inform you of the people of the Hell-Fire? They are all those violent, arrogant and stubborn people."

The EASE of having Tawakkul...!

وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَىاللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
"And whoever relies upon Allaah,  then He is sufficient for Him."
[At-Talaaq 65:3]

With tawakkul, (reliance upon Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى), a person can live his life with contentment and confidence knowing that it is ONLY Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى Who is in control of his affairs, and that Allaah is Sufficient to ease the hardships that come his way. With tawakkul comes ease, alhamdulillah! Allaah alone is enough for me !!

'If Allâh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allâh (Alone) let believers put their trust. '
(Aali Imran 3:160)

Indeed, all I have seen teaches me to trust my Creator for all that I have not seen...

The “Honeymoon”...!!

An Imitation of the Non-Muslims and a Great Waste of Money....

Sheikh ibn Uthaimeen رحمه الله said:

With regard to what is called the “honeymoon”, it is even worse and more reprehensible, because it is an imitation of the non-Muslims and it is a great waste of money. It also leads to neglect of many religious matters, especially if this time is spent in a non-Muslim country, after which they come back with habits and customs that are harmful to them and to their society. These are matters which are dangerous to the ummah. But if the man were to travel with his wife to do ‘Umrah or to visit Madinah, there is nothing wrong with that, inshaAllaah.”

A Father Teaching His Children Tawheed

Image result for Tawheed

Sheikh Saalih al-Uthaimeen رحمه الله was asked:

How does a father teach his children Tawheed?

He answered:

‘He teaches them Tawheed just like he teaches them other matters of the Deen. From the best of what is in this subject is the book ‘The Three Principles’ by Sheikh-ul-Islam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhaab رحمه الله. If he makes them memorize it by heart and explains to them its meanings appropriately to their understanding and their intellects. Then there comes a lot of goodness from this. This is because this book is built upon questions and answers, and clear easy expressions, which have no complexity.

Then the father shows them the Ayaat of Allaah (His signs) so that he can practically implement what is mentioned in this small book.

For example, (about) the sun, the father asks, 'who created it?' Likewise (about) the moon, the stars, the night and day. You say to them:

The sun, who created it? Allaah.

The moon? Allaah, the night? Allaah, the day? Allaah.

Allaah سُبحانه وتعالىcreated all of these.

“Indeed most children’s corruption came from their parents and their neglect of them…”

Ibnul-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah رحمه الله said:

And Al-Bayhaqi narrated from the hadeeth of Anas رضي اللّه عنـه who said that:

'A man was sitting with the Prophet, so one of his sons came to him, so the man kissed him and sat him in his lap. Then his daughter came to him so he took her and sat her to his side. So the Prophet (صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم) said, ‘You were not just between them.’ And the Salaf used to like to be just between their children when kissing them.'

And some of the people of knowledge said that Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى will ask the parent about his child on the Day of Resurrection before asks the child about his parent. So just as the father has a right upon his son, the son has a right upon his father, as Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى said,

وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا
And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents..”

Sheikh al-Muhaddith Muqbil ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee رحمه الله said:

The intelligent woman does not like for her husband to look and have his heart tempted by gazing at young ladies (on the television). She does not like this. And happiness is not achieved between the woman and her husband unless she is obedient to him and far from looking at other than him.

What is the BEST thing to do in every time & situation???

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

Ibnul Qayyim   رحمه الله

... it is to do whatever PLEASES Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى ...!

…They say that the best worship is to do what will please Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى at every time in accordance with what that particular time calls for.

So, the best acts of worship during the time of Jihad is Jihad, even if this leads to abandoning certain rituals such as night prayer, fasting, etc. In fact, this applies even if you are to not pray a complete obligatory prayer as you would in times of safety and calm.

And the best thing to do when you have a guest, for example, is to see to his rights as a guest and to preoccupy yourself with that instead of the recommended rituals you would usually engage in at the time.

Such is also the case in fulfilling the rights of your wife and family.

The best thing to do during the early morning hours is to be preoccupied with prayer, Qur'aan, supplication, remembrance of Allaah, and asking His Forgiveness.

There Is No Trust for the One Who Does Not Fear Allaah !

Umar Ibn al-Khattaab رضي اللّه عنـه said:

Stick with your true brothers. You can live in comfort with them, as they are a delight in times of ease, and you can lean on them in times of hardship. Assume the best about your brother until he comes with something that should alarm you from him. Avoid your enemy, and beware of befriending anyone but the trustworthy, and there is no trust for the one who does not fear Allaah.

The Inverted Priorities

By Dr. Saleh as-Saleh رحمه الله

"Corrupt creeds, lying, cheating, injustice, innovations, lowly desires, attachment to this world, ignorance, mysticism, grave worship, bigoted blind following and so forth... and we boast saying:

"Our Main Problem is in our Leaders!!! "
Is this the case???

Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى says:
إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ
"Verily! Allaah will not change the good (or bad condition) of a people as long as they don’t change their state of goodness (or sins and wrong doings etc) themselves."
[Ra'd 13:11]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Ponder upon the Hikmah (Wisdom) of Allaah, the most High, where He has made people's kings, leaders, and those of authority over them, of the same kind as their own deeds. It is as if the people's deeds appeared in the forms of their kings and leaders.

If the people are upright, then their kings and rulers will be upright, and if they turn away (from uprightness), then their leaders will turn against them. And if they oppress and tyrannize, then their kings and rulers will tyrannize and oppress. And if deception and treachery becomes manifest amongst them, then the same will appear in their rulers.

As-Sarf Lesson # 17

الصَّرْفُ
Animated avatar 100x100

Divisions of  حُرُوف العِلَّة

{ حُرُوف العِلَّة   are the 3 weak letters: (ا) "alif", (و) "wāw", & (ي) "yā’"}

These verbs are called  مُعْتَل  - i.e. one of the three  ف  al-Kalimah, ع  al-Kalimah or ل  al-Kalimah will have a  (ا), (و) or (ي).

{* There are 4 divisions but we will be taking only 3.}

1.     First division is when the  حُرُوف العِلَّة  is in the place of  ف  al-kalimah.
E.g. وَعَدَ  and  يَسَرَ

In  وَعَدَ -  This verb has  حُرُوف العِلَّة  in its root. The ' ف ' al-kalimah of this word has a  و (waaw).

Another example is :  يَسَرَ  - The ' ف '  al-kalimah of this word has a  ي  (ya).
In the case of  وَعَدَ  and  يَسَرَ  we don't have to search for the root letters as the root letters are clear. It will always be a و  or a ي and never an Alif in the place of  ف   al-kalimah. The reason being the Alif is always a sukoon and it cannot be pronounced.

2.     Second division is when the  حُرُوف العِلَّة  is in the place of  ع al-kalimah.
E.g.  صَاْمَ  and  باْعَ
The root letters are not clear in these two words  صَاْمَ  and  باْعَ  because of the presence of Alif in these words.
