Ways in which Allaah grants the Muslims victory over their enemies.

(Taken from Majmoo al-Fatwa of Sheikh ibn Baaz رحمه الله vol. 7).

The theme of the lecture, "Ways in which Allaah grants Muslims victory over their enemies," makes it clear that Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى provides means for victory and defeat. The believers should adopt and abide by the means of victory everywhere whether it is in the Masjid, at home or on the road, and when fighting the enemies. as Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى says:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
"O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm."
(Muhammad 47:7)

Advice to the Muslim Ummah Regarding the Tyrannical Atrocities that Occur Upon Us.

Shaykh Saalih Ibn Fawzaan Al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله) stated:

"The actions, disbelief and evil of the Yahood (Jews) is well known, even (with regards) to (their relationship) with their Prophets. They killed their Prophets and (also) is that which occurred with Kaleemullaah - Moosaa (عليه السلام), such as what Allaah has related in the Qur`aan (regarding) the story of Moosaa and Haaroon (عليه السلام). The character, disbelief, misguidance and evil of the Yahood is well known - even towards their Prophets.
But what is obligatory upon us (Muslims) is that we ponder and rectify our deviated affairs and repent to Allaah because the Yahood have not gained the upper hand over us except due to our sins.

The Trial of the so called Caliphate of ‘Iraaq & As-Shaam

by Sheikh ‘Abdul Muhsin Al ‘Abbaad حفظه الله

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

All praise is due to Allaah and may the peace and blessings be upon whom there is no Prophet after him, our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and his companions, as to what proceeds.

Some years ago in ‘Iraaq a group that called itself the Islamic State of ‘Iraaq and Shaam1 has emerged and they have become known by four letters (داع) And those who have taken its leadership, as those who have followed news about them mention, are many whose names are Abu so and so or Abu so and so the son of so and so, appellations which are ascribed to a particular country or tribe as is the state of those unknown who hide behind appellations and ascriptions.
In the beginning of the current Ramadan, they changed the name of their group to the Islamic State. Which is good for this group (the so-called Islamic State) is that they reconsider and to return to guidance before their state disappears in the wind similar to those which came before it in different eras.

Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee رحمه الله (d.157) said:
“Make yourself patient upon the Sunnah, stop where the people stopped, speak with what they spoke with, and refrain from what they refrained from. And follow the path of your Righteous Predecessors (Salafus Saaliheen) for verily, sufficient for you is that which was sufficient for them.”

Dying while Adhering to the Sunnah.

Image result for Sunnah

From Mu’tamar bin Sulayman رحمه الله who said:
‘I visited my father while I was heartbroken and he said: ‘What is wrong?’
I said: ‘My friend has died.’
He asked: ‘Did he die upon the Sunnah?’
I answered: ‘Yes.’
He said: ‘Then do not worry about him.’

The dangers of bid’ah

Image result for bidah

Sufyan ath-Thawri رحمه الله said,

"Innovations are more beloved to Shaytan than sin, since a sin may be repented from but an innovation is not repented from."

[Sharh Usul I'tiqad of al-Lalika'i (d. 414H) no.238, the great 4th century Imam who wrote on the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah.]

This is because the innovator believes he is doing something good and therefore sees no need to repent.

He also said,
" ... so cling to the original state of affairs,"

meaning the way of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم, and his companions.
[Al-Hilya, 6/376]

Dammaj, the aftermath .... our last moments

It was Saturday, 10th Rabi-ul-awwal (11th Jan. 2014), our Yemeni neighbours pounded on our door screaming for my husband.... I could sense the urgency in their voices! In no time the news reached my ear... "We have to leave Dammaj in 4 (F-O-U-R days)!" We were stunned and dismayed by the news...!

Signs of Beneficial knowledge

1) Implementing it.

2) Hatred for being praised,  complemented,  or displaying haughtiness over others.

3) Increasing your modesty with the increase of knowledge.

4) Fleeing from the love of leadership,  fame,  and worldly pleasures.

5) Abandoning the claim to have knowledge.

6) Having bad suspicions about oneself,  and good suspicion about other people,  so as to steer clear from disparaging them.

'Abdullaah Ibn Mubaarak رحمه الله used to say,  in poetry if the manners of the Salaf were mentioned:

"Do not compare us to them
for the sound person who walks
Is not the same as the crippled one. "

Quote
