Unity with the Rafida is never possible!

The Imaam and father, ‘Abdul ‘Azeez ‘Abdullaah ibn Baaz رحمه الله said:

Unity between ‘ar-Raafida’ (The Shia) and Ahlu-Sunnah is never possible as there is a difference of ‘Aqeedah. As for the ‘Aqeedah of Ahlu-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, it is to Tawheed of Allaah (single out Allaah) and have al-Ikhlaas (Sincerity) in the worship of Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى, that is, not to associate anything when calling (upon Allaah), neither an Angel nor a Prophet. And it is Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى who knows the Ghaib (Unseen). And from the ‘Aqeedah of Ahlu-Sunnah is to love the Sahaba (Companions of Allaah’s Messenger صلّى اللَّهُ عليه وسلّم), may Allaah be pleased with all of them and He is pleased with them, and to have ‘eemaan (faith) that they are the most excellent of the creation of Allaah after the Prophets, and the best of them are Aboo Bakr as-Siddeeq, then ‘Umar, then ‘Uthmaan, then ‘Alee, may Allaah be pleased with them all. And the Raafida oppose this. So there is no unity between these two (‘Aqeedah), just as there is no unity between the Yahood (Jews), the Nasaara (Christians), the Vathaniyyeen (Idol worshippers) and the Ahlu-Sunnah. So for this reason, there is no unification between the Raafida and Ahlu-Sunnah due to the opposition of (their) ‘Aqeedah as we have made clear.

There is no Shyness in the Religion, or is there?

Questioner: The statement There is no shyness in the Religion has been circulating upon the tongues of the people.

Shaykh Abdul Azeez ibn Baaz (رحمه الله):
This is correct linguistically and in meaning. This is similar to what the woman (Umm Sulaym) said to the Prophet [May the peace and salutation of Allaah be upon him] Verily, Allaah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. Is it necessary for a woman to take a ‘ghusl’ (full bath) after she has a wet dream (nocturnal sexual discharge?)”

Is The Witr Prayer Different Than The Night Prayer?

Sheikh ibn Baaz (May Allaah have mercy upon him) was asked:
Is the Witr prayer different than the night prayer in terms of it’s timing, the duaa that is made in the two prayers, as well as the number of units of prayer that is made in it?

His Reply was:
The Witr prayer is part of the night prayer. It is from the Sunnah and something that is recommended to do. It is the way in which the night prayer should be completed or finished. The Witr prayer is one unit of prayer, in which you end the night prayer. This is done either at the end of the night, in the middle of the night or even in the beginning of the night after the Isha prayer.

A man kissing and touching his wife while fasting.

Sheikh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy upon him) was asked:

If a man kisses his wife during the day of Ramadhan or plays around with her, does this nullify his fast or not?"

Backbiting,Slandering, Cursing, etc while fasting…

Sheikh Bin Baaz was asked: “Does backbiting someone break ones fast during Ramadan?”

His reply was: “Backbiting does not break ones fast. It is to mention about someone that which they would not like. It is a form of disobedience. We know this because of the statement of Allah

{وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا}
{… neither backbite one another …}
[Al Hujuraat : 12]

Like this is slandering, cursing, swearing and lying. None of these things break someones fast. They are though, disobedience. Therefore

Take Heed O Negligent One to make up your missed Ramadan Fasts!!

Days missed from previous Ramadan must be made up before the next Ramadan -
Source: Fatwas of Ibn Baz رحمه الله

Q: If Ramadan comes and someone still has days of Sawm (Fasting) to make up for from the previous Ramadan, are they considered sinful for not having made up the days before the start of the next Ramadan? Do they have to make a Kaffarah (expiation) or not?

Age of Gentleness, Patience, & Wisdom

“This day & age is a day & age of being gentle, of being patient, & of having wisdom. It is not a day & age of being harsh & strict. The majority of the people are in a state of ignorance & neglect influenced by the worldly affairs of this life. So it is necessary to have patience & it is necessary to be gentle until the call has reached & been conveyed to the people & that they come to understanding. We ask Allah to grant everyone guidance.”

The Crime of Fornication and relieving Oneself from its Evil Effects

Sheikh ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy upon him), was asked: “What is binding upon one who falls into the crime of fornication to clear himself from the effects of that?”

He, may Allaah have mercy upon him, answered: “Fornication is from the most disgusting of prohibitions and greatest sins. Allaah has threatened the polytheists, those who murder people without due right and the fornicators with a double torment on the Day of Resurrection and remaining therein humiliated and debased due to the wickedness and severity of their crimes.

As Allaah says:

And those who invoke not any other deity along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace, except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds…

Whoever covers for a Muslim, Allaah will cover for him …

Animated wallpaper, screensaver 240x320 for cellphone

Question:
Is the meaning of the Hadith, Whoever covers for a Muslim, Allaah will cover for him”, that if someone does something bad or evil and I covered for him Allaah will cover me? I hope you can clarify this for me. May Allaah reward you.

Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baaz (may Allaah reward him) answered:
Yes, this Hadith is authentic. Recorded by Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (radiAllaahu ‘anhu – may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said, ”Whoever relieves a believer from a difficulty from this Dunya (worldly life), Allaah will relieve a difficulty from him from the difficulties of Yawm Al-Qiyaama (the Day of Judgment). And whoever aids and makes easy an insolvency, Allaah will be easy on him in this life and the next. And whoever protects for a Muslim, Allaah will protect him in this world and the next.”
·       Insolvency is the inability of a debtor to pay their debt.

Breaking Fast: To eat Dinner first or Pray Maghrib?

Sheikh ‘Abdul ‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy upon him)

Question: Is it from the sunnah when breaking the fast to eat some dates & drink water then pray maghrib  & afterwards eat & drink whatever he wishes?

Answer: “Yes, (it is from the sunnah), because this is what empowers (one with) a type of advantage. He rushes to break the fast with what Allaah has made easy from dates & water, then goes to pray maghrib along with the congregation so that he does not miss it, then returns & eats whatever he wishes to eat & like this.
