Sheikh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy upon
him) was asked:
“If a man kisses his
wife during the day of Ramadhan or plays around with her, does this
nullify his fast or not?"
His reply was: “A man kissing his wife, or
playing around with her or even touching her, as long as it is not the actual
sexual act, while he is fasting is completely permissible There
is no problem with these things. We know this because it is known that the
Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) used to kiss
his wives and touch them while he was fasting. Though, if there is some fear
that it will lead to that which Allaah has forbidden because the
individual often falls victim of their desires, then it is disliked for him to
partake in these activities.
‘If the point of ejaculation is reached then
what is upon that individual has to still refrain from eating as well as make
up that day. There, in this case, is no Kafarah (legislated expiation) that is
upon this individual. This is the opinion of the majority of the
Scholars.
As far as pre-cum, if it comes out, then it
does not effect ones fast. This is the most correct opinion between the two
statements given by the scholars. This is known because the basic principle is
that the fast is in tact, and correct. As well, because it is something that is
hard for many people to keep from happening.
And Allah is the Possessor of
the Success.”
